As for so many, life has changed dramatically in these Covid times. My yoga classes have moved to the ever popular Zoom platform, and have become much more about gentle movement supporting the nervous system to ease the stresses and strains of life right now. I've been amazed how we seem to have slipped so easily into this new way of being together!
Basketmaking too has changed, no teaching and no Fairs, but the online platform is so useful, and local supporters have been wonderful! I can see a renewed commitment to buying local as our trust in global markets has been shaken.
My studio at Ushaw Historic House and Gardens is open for me to work in, so I'm beavering away making Christmas gifts and decorations, as well as my usual baskets, bird feeders and garden products. I'm also experimenting with other pieces, such as this larger play pod for children. I'm loving decorating my Christmas wreaths!
