We had a great time this week celebrating Pat’s 90th Birthday. Pat has attended Pilates for the past 10 years. All of her class mates along with Rachel and I enjoyed celebrating with afternoon tea at Hotel Indigo.
Pat is an inspiration to us all. She even agreed to write a little message for the blog!
10 years ago I decided to come to Pilates. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. As I have aged it has helped me to be physically and mentally active. It prepared me for major operations and helped me to recover quickly. I will continue as long as I am able to do.
People have great things to say about Pat,
In the words of Craig Revell Pat is a-m-a-z-i-n-g
Pat is one of the most positive people I know. She is unstoppable, determined and always cheerful a real ‘can-do’ person. Keep going Pat you are an inspiration to us all.
Pat is truly inspirational, I hope I am able to do Pilates when I am 90. She’s determined and resilient and keen to give anything a go. I look forward to her being in my class for a long time to come.
So thank you Pat for bringing so much to Pilates. We all love teaching your class. You remind us all of the benefits of Pilates for both the mind and body and the special position we are in as physios to be part of your life. The continuity of care Pilates has brought us motivates us all to make getting down on our mat a pleasure in every class we teach.
