If you are new to Pilates you can start any time after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

All women should be encouraged to participate in aerobic and strength- conditioning exercise as part of a healthy life style during their Pregnacy.

If you have any on going Muscloskeletal problems an individual initial assessment is essential.

A Pilates class specifically designed for pregnancy to maintain your strength and posture before and after birth.

Regular Pilates will help you:-

 

  • Strengthen your pelvic floor muscle control to prevent incontinence.

  • Improve postural awareness.

  • Strengthen abdominal and gluteal muscles to support and stabilise the pelvis and spine.

  • Stretch spinal and upper limb muscles to relieve tension.

  • Maintain effective circulation to aid with swelling.
